Upon completing your foundation study, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running on a full honours degree.**How you learn**You’ll take modules that test your independent study skills, as well as traditional lectures, seminars and group work. You’ll receive face-to-face feedback regularly.Throughout the course, you'll learn through many of the same techniques used on the degree, and familiarise yourself with Sheffield Hallam and its facilities.You learn through- lectures- seminars- problem-solving activities- group and individual work**Applied learning****Degree preparation**After the foundation year, you’ll be ready to start the full degree. Airline and Airport Management is a dynamic, engaging and practical course that allows you excellent experience of the aviation industry.**Work placements**You have the opportunity to undertake a year-long work placement in your third year of study. This gives you real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.Please note Aviation businesses carry out pre-employment security clearances and this is outside the control of Sheffield Hallam. The basic security clearance (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requires the verification of the following four elements: identity, employment history (past five years), nationality and immigration status, criminal record (unspent convictions only).
